Tea's Benefits

The overall health benefits of drinking tea have been appreciated for centuries.

To Enjoyment & Good Health!

We all know tea has been enjoyed for many centuries, and what has always been true about the health benefits of drinking tea hold true today.

At Lone Star Tea, we purposely seek out the best tea ingredients, and do not cut corners that would compromise those health benefits or the fresh, always delicious taste of our teas. Let's look at just some of the benefits of tea:

Black Tea

Black tea offers several health benefits, including improved heart health due to its antioxidants, reduced risk of stroke, and lower blood pressure. It contains compounds that may boost gut health and promote weight loss. Additionally, black tea may enhance focus and concentration, support bone health, and provide a natural energy boost without reliance purely on caffeine, which is typically lower in teas than coffee (no "jitteriness" like can happen with too much coffee).

Green Tea

Green tea is renowned for its numerous health benefits. Packed with antioxidants, it is believed to boost metabolism, aid in weight loss, and may lower the risk of various cancers. Its catechins support heart health, reduce inflammation, and improve brain function. Regular consumption of green tea also promotes dental health, enhances skin health, and may contribute to longevity.

Natural Ingredients & Additions

Adding natural ingredients to add new flavors to tea is a great way to add additional antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Aside from the obvious benefits of drinking natural tea, it is easy to control sugar intake with tea, obvious with unsweet tea. Sweet tea is typically viewed as a much healthier option to sugary sodas, and even some juices which are often very high in sugar. Tea is a "winner" all the way around!
